The Athena Water Ionizers now has four different replacement cartridge filters that can be used in it, the Athena Basic Sediment filter, the Athena Biostone filter, the new Athena UlltraWater filter and the new Athena UltraWater Fluoride/Arsenic Removal filter. Filter Installation Suggestion:

The Athena water ionizer uses two replacement filters. Typically for customers not concerned about fluoride in their water (people who have wells) can install the Athena Basic Sediment Filter as filter #1, and either the Athena Biostone filter or the Athena UltraWater Filter as filter #2. Alternatively if you are concerned about fluoride in your tap water, you can install the Athena UltraWater Fluoride/Arsenic Filter as filter #1, and either the Athena Biostone filter or the Athena UltraWater filter as filter #2.
